Rothe House & Garden

This house was built in 1594 and is Ireland's only surviving townhouse from the 16th century. Inside, visitors can explore the period furnishings, gardens, and other artifacts from the era, as well as learn about the house's fascinating history. The complex was built by John Rothe Fitz-Piers between 1594–1610 and is made up of three houses, three enclosed courtyards, and a large reconstructed garden with orchard.
