Gort's new local enterprise centre, Forge Works, is offering a remote working skills course in conjunction with Grow Remote and Rethink Ireland.
The course, which spans 8 weeks and will be comprised of live calls, peer sessions and self-directed learning, aims to give Gort locals the tools and knowledge to apply for remote working positions.

Applying for a remote working position can be a daunting process, especially if you are not familiar with the world of remote work, are recently unemployed, or you are returning to work after some time. The community behind this course, Grow Remote, have support networks in place to help you find your feet — you will be made aware of virtual meetups, events and other social supports throughout the course to ensure your remote working journey gets off to the best start.
