A wide range of beauty treatments and complementary therapies are offered at this salon, including appointments with gifted healers. Owner Eileen's mission is to peel away the layers of trauma keeping a client stuck in the past. She uses a large tool box of treatments and techniques having learnt early on in her practice that one technique along does not work. She has created space at Claddagh Heart to allow a user of the service an opportunity to relax and connect with the unconscious mind where a client really does have all the answers on how they may move forward from a traumatic event or issue holding them back. Eileen has worked in the area of psychological trauma for thirty years in legal practice. This work awakened her to the difficulties faced by clients if they suffered trauma incidents such as road traffic accidents, an accident at work, a hospital blunder, military blunder or childhood abuse. She has spent the past 18 years obtaining compensation for the Irish Survivors of childhood abuse. She saw that there was limited help available to enable these clients to overcome past trauma. Due to the lack of assistance available she embarked on a number of courses as a complementary health practitioner to investigate what really worked for survivors of complex trauma.
