The Family Trail at Coole Park

The 'Family Trail' is a family-friendly, easy 1.75 km walk located in Coole Park. This walk takes you past the site where Lady Gregory’s house once stood. You will then move through the red gate entrance of the walled garden to see the Autograph Tree, which bears the initials of many famous writers who visited Coole when Lady Gregory lived here. Children love the expansive lawn sloping away from the path. The walk continues to the Coole Interpretative Centre, passing the Red Deer enclosure along the way.
