Traught Beach in Kinvara, County Galway is a Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point and lies in a Special Area of Conservation called the Galway Bay Complex. It is a popular area for birdwatching, particularly for waterfowl. The beach itself offers lovely views of Galway Bay and the Atlantic and is serviced by public toilets and a car park with picnic tables and seating.
