Family-owned Deli and Fine Foods Shop Come and visit McCambridge's of Galway, a family-owned Deli and Fine Foods Shop on the main street in Galway on the West Coast of Ireland. We have always prided ourselves in providing the best of Irish and International food and wines. Our shop has a wide selection of hand-picked fine foods and beverages for sale. Located in the centre of Galway city, McCambridge’s opened its doors in 1925 and is a wonderful mix of select grocer, coffee shop, deli and off-licence downstairs and a beautiful casual restaurant upstairs. The deli and restaurant offer the finest of local Irish produce including Irish meat, seafood, cheese and charcuterie (including our own baked ham). The grocery hosts an extensive range of jams, chutneys, teas, coffees, artisan chocolates, speciality oils, an olive bar and a recently introduced organic fruit and vegetable section. The restaurant space is modern and contemporary mixed with period features such as high ceilings, architraving and items dating back to when the business first opened. Downstairs the take-away sandwich bar is a busy hub of activity, where sandwiches are custom made to order and can be eaten at the European style coffee bar which has great views out onto the main pedestrianised street, or you can sit in the outside seating and watch the world go by. The Award-Winning off licence has an extensive selection that features boutique wines from all over the world, with particular emphasis on continental wines. An added bonus is that any wine can be chosen to accompany your meal upstairs, with just a small corkage charge added. There are also more than 100 craft beers in stock. Whiskies are a speciality here, with the widest range of Irish and Scotch whiskies in the west of Ireland.
