Tigh Nora Gin Bar

Tigh Nora is Galway’s award-winning gin bar with over 200 different gins to try. It’s the first bar in Ireland to release its own gin called ‘Nora’s Irish Gin’ aptly named after Nora Barnacle, the wife and inspiration of James Joyce! An intimate venue next to The Front Door Pub, inside you will find a beautiful bar with a warm welcome and top-class service not to mention hundreds of G&T’s to choose from. Be sure and ask to read through the famous ‘Gin Bible’. You can also try a gin flight or their now-famous gin trees! The bar is the focal point of the venue, with soft lighting, comfy seating, open fire and shelves laden with your favourite drinks. A full drinks menu is available including wine, cocktails, draft pints, whiskey & more. Be sure to pick up a gin passport, once you try 10 different gins you’ll receive a complimentary gin! During the day, it’s a relaxed bar where you can enjoy a drink and soak up the street vibes of The Latin Quarter. In the evening, the tempo increases and it becomes a lively bar with music playing and people to chat. The bar is named after Nora Barnacle, who was the original Galway girl.
