The venue opened in June 2015 and quickly became ranked highly on the list of Galway’s top restaurants and bars. In keeping with McGettigan’s bars across the globe, live music and sport feature heavily at McGettigan’s Galway, with numerous HD TVs and giant screens televising the world’s top sporting events 7 days a week, in addition to some of the city’s best music acts performing live on stage throughout the week.
