Bakery, Restaurant & Wine Bar. Éan is an innovative new 56-seater bakery, restaurant and wine bar from the team behind the Michelin-star, Loam. Located on Druid Lane and occupying the same building as the eponymous theatre company, it looks set to become as much a part of Galway’s cultural fabric as its famous neighbours. Éan is a great food spot, no matter what you’re looking for; a freshly-baked pastry with a delicious cup of seasonally-sourced coffee from Galway-based, Calendar Coffee, or a relaxing evening of wine and cheese with a friend. They’ve also got a stunning menu of hot dishes for breakfast, lunch or dinner that will give you a brand new flavour experience every time. Venison tartare with beetroot, shallot and rye, or potato dumplings with pumpkin, corn and chanterelles – these are just a small sample of the inspiring culinary creations you’ll find but, with its seasonal menu and ambitious chefs, you never know what you might discover!
