Beautifully curated coffee and design house. Coffeewerk + Press is a space created to showcase the overlap between Irish and international design and art while exploring the world of speciality coffee. We are a small business housed in a beautiful four-hundred-year-old building on the west coast of Ireland seeking to create a dialogue between design/coffee and our local community. We proudly work with a variety of International roasters who exemplify ethical business practice. Many of our roasters utilize direct trade a practice by which they pay above and beyond market value to both individual and collective farmers throughout the world. This ensures fair compensation for growers who apply environmentally and socially conscious growing methods. Using these high-quality beans we ensure that every cup of coffee we sell reflects our passion for this industry. Coffeewerk + Press believe the future of good business lies in conscientious trade with adherence to social and environmental awareness. Our main ambition is to create a dialogue within our community about speciality coffee and design. We do this by creating a platform where we host our roasters facilitating free cupping sessions and talks to our local and national coffee community.
