56 Central Restaurant was created with one main thing in mind – HAPPINESS. This stylish world above the streets has been a place of joy, content and positive vibes over the years, hence the tagline #OurHappyPlace. Upon arriving in the restaurant you are immediately greeted with a big smile, the sound of laughter and a friendly hello. From open to close 56 Central Restaurant is always full of old friends catching up over a glass of bubbles, little children busy colouring and general good vibes. Since opening in 2015, 56 Central Restaurant has established itself as a centre of high quality, casual dining where the team do their best to bring real food to the table, serving up a mixture of salads, sandwiches, burgers and pastas as well as daily specials. Always thinking local first, 56 Central Restaurant have supported many local producers over the years. Their food offering includes a mixture of breakfast, lunch, dinner and set menu dining options. The wine vault at 56 Central Restaurant is stocked up with beautiful wine and bubbles and there is Guiness flowing on tap, as well as a selection of bottled beers and cider for thirsty customers to choose from. Coffee is a big deal at 56 Central Restaurant and in summer the team are always busy making delicious iced mochas and lattes. Smoothies are a big hit at the weekend with Berry or Mango often being the favorite choices. The 56 Central Restaurant venue itself boasts five beautiful dining rooms; The Garden Room, The Buddha Zen Garden, The Restaurant, The Art Room and The Wine Vault, all of which have been designed by local Galway artists and are available for private hire. The stylish restaurant can host private parties up to 100 people. The crew at 56 Central Restaurant aim to make sure that everyone leaves with a smile on their face and are known throughout Galway for their kind hearts and love for helping others. It is embedded in the core values of the business that they will make contributions to the city, so every year the team help to organise the ‘Sleep Out for Simon’ in aid of the Galway Simon Community as well as many other smaller events for local charities. They also host the Holistic Fest in September each year, bringing a wide and varied mix of therapists to the venue in the evening where you can expect to hear shamnic drumming and massages, all taking place raising money for local charity
