Ireland’s top comedians including Foil, Arms and Hog, Emma Doran, Al Porter and Neil Delamere will perform at the Kings Head this July as part of the Laughter Loft Lunchtime Comedy gigs for the Galway International Arts Festival.
This is the ultimate chance to get up close and personal with these leading stars of the comedy world in the intimate surrounds of the Ruby Room, located upstairs at this historic venue.&nbsp;

<h4>Happy Two Decades!</h4>
Celebrating 20 years this summer, the Laughter Loft Comedy shows during GIAF are a festival within a festival. It’s a rare opportunity to catch stadium style comics in the famously cosy room at the 800-year-old Kings Head.&nbsp;
Spontaneous and fun, there’s a different line-up each day, under the stewardship of host and MC Gerry Mallon.&nbsp;
Queuing for these lunchtime gigs is part of the experience, given that this is perhaps the smallest venue these giants of comedy will perform in this year, or any year.&nbsp;
Grab yourself a coffee and find out where your fellow partners in comedy crime come from as you find yourself outside, then up the stairs, then inside, then on to the holy grail of the Ruby Room.&nbsp;
It is this exclusive nature that makes the Laughter Loft at the Kings Head during GIAF all the more fun and, after two decades, a Galway institution.

<h4>No Booking Allowed!</h4>
No booking is required and tickets are allocated on a first come, first serve basis on the door only. Arrive early (or as we would say – early early) to avoid disappointment.&nbsp;
Shows take place daily from Monday, July 15th to Sunday, July 28th.
Doors open at 12:30pm with all shows starting at 1pm. Tickets cost €15 on the door only.&nbsp;
Just to note on Wednesday, July 17th Foil, Arms and Hog will do two shows, the first at 1pm and the second at 3pm.
