What’s your favourite place in the city?
 
Quay street on a sunny summer day sipping a coffee outside one of the many quaint restaurants/cafes and watching the world go by.
 
 
Any hidden gem you would recommend for visitors to Galway? They will be back.
 
Menlo pier just a short drive from the city. It's a haven for wildlife, particularly birds and one of the calmest and picturesque locations around.
 
 
 
Where is your favourite place to grab a bite to eat?
 
The Market at St. Nicholas' every Saturday, particularly the potato and pea curry from The Bean Tree company and the Matar Paneer from Govinda's. Alternatively, The Charcoal Grill after a feed of pints and Sambucca.
 
 
When this blows over, what pub would recommend for
 
 
A quiet pint: The front bar in the Roisin Dubh
 
 
Watching a match: The Kings Head
 
 
Tunes: The Quays

 
 Any recommendations for a place to go on a first date, or any date once we all get back out there?
 
Kirwans Lane restaurant, your date will be suitably impressed, maybe not with you but definitely with the food. 
 
 
Favourite walk or hike in Galway?
 
Nimmos Pier round by South Park and out to Salthill. 
 
Most picturesque place in Galway? 
 
The Claddagh Basin
 
What are you up to for the weekend?
 
I play drums with a band called Kif and normally we'd be gigging in town on a Friday or Saturday but all of that's on pause at the moment. The third season of Ozark is just out on Netflix so I'll probably get stuck into that. I might possibly leave the couch at some point to stretch the legs and get more junk food supplies. I have a big pile of ironing that I can't wait to get stuck into also. If I'm feeling in top form I might clean the bathroom.
