Are you an Apple or Android Person?

Apple...I don’t necessarily even like the brand it’s just I’m used to it. I tried to change over to android once. I think it would be easier to learn Chinese writing. I’m kind of untechy like that.


Presuming you had a signal, what 3 apps would you use on a desert island?

1) YouTube - so I could watch videos of Ray Mears survival tips, and also watch clips on how to catch fish with your hands. But I’d probably go into the YouTube hole and end up watching videos of dogs learning to skateboard or something.

2) Just eat - I believe those guys will deliver anywhere.

3) To be honest I’d probably just use the iPhone to call for help 


What’s your favourite place in the city?

Blackrock diving tower - I’ve been going swimming there regularly since last year, even in the winter months, such an amazing feeling. Not a man or woman on earth could put you in bad form after it.


Any hidden gem you would recommend for visitors to Galway?

Yes I hear great things about The Door Centre in Liosban industrial estate :). Other than that a visit to “The Quiet Man” bridge just past Oughterard - which was the location of the famous movie starring John Wayne. It’s a nice spin out followed by a chowder in Kelly’s pub in Oughterard


Where is your favourite place to grab a bite to eat? 

Either Seven for the chicken wings, or else Thai Garden - both unbeatable 



What pub would you go to for:

A quiet pint - Sheridan’s Knocknacarra 
A match - Taylor’s bar 
Tunes - Massimo Bar


Any recommendations for a place to go on a first date? 

The Door Cen....Go Karting and a 3 in 1 ;) Or else a few drinks in Harry’s bar, Bohermore, followed by a comedy gig in the King's Head perhaps :)


Favourite walk or hike in Galway?

Diamond hill loop walk - a hike suitable for young or old 


Most picturesque place in Galway? 

Galway City - The Claddagh
Galway county - The views from the Sky Road in Clifden 



What are you up to for the weekend?

Heading to the Aviva to hopefully watch Ireland beat Scotland in the six nations. Also, I’ve done dry January so looking forward to a few pints. Don’t judge me
