Jenny Cox, actress with multi-award winning Blue Teapot Theatre company, give us top tips on where to experience the atmosphere, culture and beauty of Galway city for this week's edition of Galway Weekend.&nbsp;

Jenny's acting roles have included an acclaimed part as Rose in Dancing At Lughnasa at the Town Hall last year, and as Rita in the 2016 feature film Sanctuary.


Are you an Apple or Android Person? 
You mean the shape of my head? If you do then I'm definitely an Apple person.

Presuming you had a signal, what 3 apps would you use on a desert island?
Colour by Numbers - It's an app that helps to keep your brain active.
Youtube - So I can keep up with the Dobre Brothers.
RTE Player so I can still watch Neighbours, Home and Away and Fair City.


What’s your favourite place in the city?
Shop Street or Eyre Sq Shopping Centre because I love my shopping.


Any hidden gem you would recommend for visitors to Galway?
Just go and do a pub crawl, I'd say start in Sonny Molloys, then head to Garveys, The Dew Drop, Galway Arms, Taylors and finish in Monroe's.


Where is your favourite place to grab a bite to eat?
I really like Scotty's Famous Burgers and Wings, they do the best hotdogs and Root Beer.

Any recommendations for a place to go on a first date?&nbsp;
I'd recommend food in the Galleon in Salthill, they have really good food and it's really cosy in there.

The Prom in Salthill


Most picturesque place in Galway? 
Again the Prom, It's really romantic looking on a Summer evening


What are you up to for the weekend?
Having a nice quiet weekend with my family at home. :-)
