Presuming you had a signal, what 3 apps would you use on a desert island? Definitely What's the Scór to keep me up to date with the GAA results, European Tour Golf app to keep up to speed with the Golf and of course the Galway app to get my free pint of Guinness for the rugby this weekend. What's your favourite place in the City? Salthill Prom, very peaceful, love to walk there and get the sea air and soak in the views of Galway Bay. Any hidden gem that you would recommend for visitors to Galway? I have to say, Tuesday night set dancing right here in Monroe's, it really is a very enjoyable and unique experience. Where is your favourite place to grab a bite to eat? I love McCabe's in Salthill, the steak is great. What pub would you go to for: a. A quiet pint? If I come into town, I will have a quiet one here or in Barna, Donnellys. b. A Match: I don't want to sound bias, but here, Monroe's, plenty of big screens. c. Tunes: Again, love the music here, especially Sunday nights with Mousey McHugh, or when in Salthill - O'Connors. Any recommendation for a place to go on a first date? First date! I haven't had one since I lived in New York a long time ago, that was with my beloved late wife Claire. I wouldn't know where to go in Galway, offers on a postcard to Monroe's! Favourite Walk or Hike in Galway The Prom, all day long.
Most picturesque place in Galway? The Twelve Pins in Connemara. What are you up to for the Weekend? I am off to Mayo with my football club, Barna, for a training weekend.&nbsp;
