With beautiful lights, cosy hot drinks and steins of beer typical of European Winter markets, they’ve nailed a Yuletide atmosphere perfect for the festive party season.

Christmas Family Rave with Santa’s Grotto DNA Nightclub Dec 14th, 2 pm

We have some excellent news for you: All your hours of dedicated practice, 6 am training sessions and endless Youtube videos perfecting that quintessential dance move known as The Floss will finally pay off.&nbsp;

This Saturday, get ready to throw some serious shapes on DNA’s dancefloor at the annual Christmas Family Rave. There’ll be face painting, bubbles, balloons, and even glowsticks!&nbsp;

As this is a Family Rave we must also have something for the kids. Each child will get to meet Santa and his elves in the Christmas Grotto, and leave with a present from the man himself.&nbsp;

Daithí Live at Electric Electric Nightclub Dec 14th, 11 pm

Daithí returns to Galway this Saturday night in Electric. The two-time Choice Music Prize nominee is known for his signature electronic music interwoven with traditional Irish and house roots.&nbsp;

Before signing to Sony Music in 2012 he was already supporting names like DJ Shadow, Santigold and The XX on Irish dates across the country.&nbsp;

His debut single 'Chameleon Life', entered the Irish charts in 2013 becoming one of the most played songs on Irish Radio that year.&nbsp;

The musician has rooted himself firmly into the house and electronic scene since with hits like Cased Closed, Have to Go feat. Jesse Boykins and the wonderful Mary Keane's Introduction which features audio clips of his grandmother telling tales of love in the West of Ireland.

Daithí's latest album L.O.S.S. is an introspective work into themes of loss and grief featuring collaborations with artists including Paul Noonan of BellX1, Sinéad White and The Sei. This latest work feels like both a personal and musical evolution, with deeply poignant tales and a progression of his unique soundscapes, live instrumentation, and layered vocals.&nbsp;

Woofles Dog-Friendly Charity Brunch Pálás Dec 15th, 10 am &amp; 12 pm sittings

MADRA and Pálás are teaming up on Sunday to put on a spread worthy of a King Charles!&nbsp;

Brunch will take place in the dog-friendly bar on the 1st floor of Pálás Cinema. The talented chefs of Merrow Restaurant will cook up a delicious waffle brunch for you, and prepare tasty treats for your canine bestie.&nbsp;

All proceeds go to MADRA dog rescue and adoption charity. Brunch is just €15 per person. Booking is essential as places are limited. Call Merrow on 091 394076 to book your place.
