<h4>&nbsp;Six Businesses Awarded Café Lates Funding&nbsp;</h4>
<p>Six Galway cafés have been awarded funding to stay open past 6pm as part of the "Café Lates" pilot scheme by Galway City Council.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The scheme will see the participating cafés offer late evening cultural events and activities alongside their usual fare.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"Café Lates" aims to diversify Galway's nightlife, enhance a later café culture, and stimulate the local economy during evening hours.&nbsp;</p>
<p>It's part of Galway City’s broader commitment to enhancing its after-6pm offerings as one of nine pilot cities and towns nationwide actively shaping Ireland's night-time economy.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The cafés that have been awarded funding as part of the "Café Lates" pilot scheme are:</p>

<li>Little Collins Café</li>
<li>Wylde Café - at Hyde Hotel</li>
<li>Plámás</li>
<li>The Creamery Café&nbsp;</li>
<li>Gourmet Food Parlour.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
<p>From live music and DJ sets to workshops, this a new opportunity to enhance the cities late-night offerings.&nbsp;</p>
<h4>About Café Lates&nbsp;</h4>
<p>"Café Lates" is a pilot grant initiative designed to foster a vibrant and diverse late-night café culture in Galway City Centre and Salthill. It encourages local cafés to trial extending opening hours through the introduction of cultural programming after 6pm. Café Lates is funded by Galway City Council and and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.</p>
