Lackavrea Hill

Lackavrea Hill is quite low at 396 metres, however is a difficult climb due to the steepness of the climb. The summit offers views of the wilderness of Connemara and parts of Lough Corrib. The terrain can be quite extremely wet on both the approach and exit. A pair of wellingtons would be helpful to bring for the exit off the mountain along with hiking boots with good grip. Do not attempt this walk if it is raining or foggy or if there is threat of both as clear visibility is a must for this walk. NO DOGS ALLOWED - SHEEP GRAZING
