The Small Crane

This was the location of a potato market during the nineteenth and early twentieth century. It was a regular market and was attended by farmers from Connemara and indeed many other rural areas. Evan though the market is not still in operation, the area still holds a feeling of the old world and one of Galways more traditional pubs.
