126 Artist-Run Gallery is Galway’s only space devoted to emerging, risk-taking, contemporary visual art. Run voluntarily by a board of professionals who donate their time for free to sustain a 12-month programme of: exhibitions, talks, publications, research and events; 126 is a one-of-a-kind grassroots organisation now in its 10th year. The team work hard to maintain the gallery as a welcoming space that’s free to visit and allows meaningful engagement with contemporary art for everyone.
