Fermoy Natural Cheese Company is a small family farm run by Frank and Gudrun Shinnick. The farm uses raw milk from their 74 Freesian cows to produce several varieties of cheeses, yogurt, kefir, labneh, and raw milk. The family farm was started nearly 60 years ago, with Frank later taking over from his mother. Initially Frank ran the farm as a dairy operation but later he and his wife, Gudrun, began to make cheese. This soon branched off into making a variety of yogurts, raw milk, and other products. You can find our products at the Fermoy Farmers Market, the Midleton Market, the English Market in Cork, and Quay Foods in Kinsale along with many specialty shops in Ireland and abroad.
