Blackwater Valley Makers

Formed in 2018 The Blackwater Makers brings together the very best of unique and excellent craft and artwork from the Fermoy and surrounding Blackwater hinterland. All our studios are based in and around Fermoy and the Blackwater Valley. We are a voluntary organization and a company, limited by guarantee, run by the Blackwater Valley Makers board of directors and its members, representing professional makers in Fermoy and designated Blackwater Valley. During the year we host exhibitions, readings and workshops by local national and international individuals and groups. A collection of Artists, Craftspeople, Illustrators and Designers from County Cork who have come together to share and promote their work. Our Arts Center Located in Pearse Square Fermoy is open Wednesday to Saturday 10 to 6 Daily and Sunday 10 to 6 Please check our Facebook page for times and event updates Our gallery and Craft shop is staffed by our makers daily and it’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the makers in person.
