<h2>Fermoy first in the country to launch digital xplore vouchers&nbsp;</h2>

The very first of its kind, Fermoy Forum launched the new Xplore Fermoy Digital Vouchers on Friday of last week in conjunction with Xplore Local, enabling the public to buy and give digital vouchers to shop local.
Fermoy is officially the first town in the country to launch its own digital voucher through the Xplore app. Funded under the Cork County Council Project ACT, the project has been in the works since August.&nbsp;

<h2>Mitchelstown native takes up law president post&nbsp;</h2>

A Mitchelstown native has been elected to the prestigious position of president of the Southern Law Association. 
Juli Rea grew up on the family farm at Marshalstown, before studying law which led her to be a partner at JRAP O’Meara Solicitors in Cork.

Ornua’s Mitchelstown plant is set to get major jobs boost as part of a multi-million expansion project, The Avondhu can reveal this week. 
The plan is all part of a move to capitalise on the growing interest in Irish butter, particularly in Germany&nbsp;

Gardai have arrested a man and seized close to €10,000 worth of drugs in two searches in Mitchelstown. 
A large number of gardai launched the searches on Tuesday in fields close to the town. &nbsp;
