<h3>It feels like <em>years</em> since we've been able to enjoy live performances in our favourite pubs, community centres, and town parks. The pandemic really did a number on Ireland's music culture, but thankfully, live music has been making a triumphant comeback since restrictions were lifted earlier this month.</h3>
<p>Support Cork's music scene by checking out some of the shows taking place across the county this coming week:&nbsp;</p>
<h2>Fresh Air Collective - Sat. 28th August, 10 a.m.</h2>
<p>Fermoy - FREE</p>
<p>The Fresh Air Collective are four musicians who come from various musical backgrounds. Thanks to funding from the Local Live Music Programming Scheme, they will appear at <strong>Fermoy Town Park</strong> this Saturday, performing a mix of original songs and classical, jazz, and Irish trad tunes.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<h2>Hifilutin - Sun. 29th August, 2 p.m.</h2>
<p>Carrigaline - FREE</p>
<p>Flute quartet <em>Hifilutin </em>will be putting on a unique performance at <strong>Carrigaline Community Park</strong> this Sunday. Head on down to see the four talented musicians play everything from movie theme tunes to classical melodies.</p>
<p>You're encouraged to bring a picnic and a blanket so you can sit back and enjoy the show - here's hoping for dry weather!</p>
<h2>Billy Kennedy - Sat. 28th August, 7 p.m</h2>
<p>Crosshaven - €10 entry fee</p>
<p>Billy Kennedy is a singer/songwriter from Cork. This Saturday, he'll be playing at The Orchard in <strong>Crosshaven Community Garden</strong>, along with a band and several other superb local acts.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Set in gorgeous garden surroundings, it's sure to be quite the show. <p>Planning a staycation or day trip to the beautiful Cape Clear Island next week?</p>
<p>On Tuesday, Double Bass player Caimin Gilmore and Cellist Kate Ellis of <em>We Used to Play Here</em> will be playing at a handcrafted venue on the island. They have spent the summer touring remote locations around Ireland, as part of an initiative to bring live music to rural communities.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This one's not music-related, but still worth a mention! Treasured comedian Neil Delamere will be performing at <strong>Debarra Folk Club </strong>tomorrow evening.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We all deserve a laugh after what the past year and a half has thrown at us — and there's loads to be had at this award-winning Irish comic's latest show, <em>Pick n Mix.</em></p>
