Avondhu Physiotherapy Clinic was established in 2008 by Patrick Hanley (MISCP). Since then Patrick has maintained a high level of client care. Providing sound clinical advice and treatments, continually striving to empower the client on their road to recovery, while simultaneously striving to keep the number of treatment sessions to a minimum. The team at Avondhu Physiotherapy Clinic consists of Patrick Hanley and Alan Keane. Patrick Hanley founded Avondhu Physiotherapy Clinic in 2008. Since then Patrick has been working in private practice specialising in the area of musculoskeletal physiotherapy & sports injury rehabilitation. Patrick is a member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP), Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports & Exercise Medicine (CPSEM) and of the Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (CPPP). While practicing at APC he has been concurrently working as Munster Rugby Academy Physiotherapist since 2010. Prior to this he practiced as head physiotherapist for Cork City FC during 2009-10 season. Alan graduated from the University of Teesside, UK in 2009 with a BSc Honours Physiotherapy degree. Since graduating Alan worked in the NHS with Northumbria NHS Healthcare Trust from 2009 until 2012. Whilst here, Alan operated as part of a musculoskeletal physiotherapy team involved in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of a wide range of varying musculoskeletal conditions. Alan developed his sports physiotherapy experience by working with Newcastle United Football Club for the Club Academy for 3 seasons from 2009 until 2012. He was also Club Physiotherapist for Morpeth RFC in the English RFU North One League for the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 seasons. Alan returned to Cork in 2012 is also currently the chartered physiotherapist with Cork Constition FC and for a number of local G.A.A clubs.
