St Stephens Green

This self guided tour is in the centre of Dublin and takes you around the famous monuments and sculptures around Dublins St Stephens Green. St Stephens Green was purchased and donated to the city of Dublin by Lord Ardilaun, Arthur Guinness' great grandson. Lord Ardilaun bought, and landscaped the park before donating it. There is a statue of him in the PArk. You will see numerous famous Irish people from over the centuries, from revolutionaries to literary geniuses throughout the park. The park is is a beautiful, tranquill and peaceful place full of natures wonders and a beautiful place to have a picnic or feed the ducks or get away from city life but stay in the city centre.
