The Old Thatch Pub & Restaurant

The Old Thatch Bar & Restaurant is Ireland’s Oldest Thatch Pub and is located in Killeagh in East Cork. Directors Debbie Walsh and Brian Barry Took over the lease of this Trademark and iconic building in June 2017. Both being local and aware of the history associated with it, they were very conscious of the tradition and unique selling points the building had to offer but both wanted to bring back that familiarity and buzz that has been associated in the village and this building in particular going back as far as the 1600’s
