Cork’s best kept secret, The MET bar and restaurant is a new taste experience for Cork. Tucked away in the ground floor of the Metropole Hotel Cork located in the heart of the Victorian Quarter. Enjoy lunch from 12pm – 4pm in the newly renovated restaurant and bar with delicious sandwiches including The MET Sandwich on chunky doorstop bread or savour heartier options with our new Mary Elmes Beef Brisket Burger. Our Dinner menu, which changes seasonally, is served daily from 6pm-9.30pm in our restaurant while our early-bird (served form 5pm-7pm) and bar menus (served from 4pm to late) are the perfect prelude to an evening in the Everyman or Opera House, or a night out in the city. Join us after work to get your weekend off to a spectacular start with Friday club in our bar. Be swept away by the skills of our head mixologist and his team as you sip on Cork-themed cocktails, or sample our extensive range of local and international gins. Our Snug offers an intimate space for small gatherings including baby showers, book clubs or drinks receptions.
