The Aherne family have been running Aherne's Townhouse & Seafood Bar since 1923. Originally set up as a traditional pub and shop selling everything from a pint of Guinness to a pound of butter, it was run by Madge and Jimmy Aherne. Now the team specilise in delicious seafood with boutique accommodation and a warm welcome.
