A charming Traditional Pub in the heart of Cobh Connie Doolan's Bar is one of the oldest family owned pubs in the County of Cork. It was the first pub in Ireland to be given by Guinness as a prize. It was won by Jay, from Boston, USA. He was a 27 year old unemployed truck driver. Connie Doolan was the head of operations for Guinness at the time and he came up with the idea in 1993. His brainchild generated an extra $100 million dollars for the company in 1 year. Milvina Dean, who was a baby on board the ill fated Titanic and the longest surviving passenger, was a regular at Connies. The pub is known to have the smallest recognised Titanic museum in Ireland. Come visit Danny and his team, to experience our history and unique welcome. You will return.
