<p>Last Friday, the Minister for Defence, Mr Simon Coveney, Defence Forces COS, Lt Gen Clancy &amp; DOD Secretary General Jacqui McCrum officially opened the newly upgraded Spencer Jetty and the refurbished Block 8 Accommodation Block</p>

<p>A selection of the Cobh to Blackrock Race trophies to be won this Saturday. This year's race is in aid of the RNLI and we would like to thank our sponsors Union Chandlery, CH Marine and Marshall Textiles for sponsoring our bumper raffle - all proceeds going towards the RNLI.</p>
<h2>COBH SEA ANGLING FESTIVAL  2022.  IMPORTANT NOTICE</h2>

<p>Registration  will take place on Wed 7th September from  7pm to 8pm at the Commodore Hotel.</p>
<p>All competitors must register and pay their entry Fee&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>300 Eur for I.F.S.A. Members and 320 Eur for Non I.F.S.A. Members and any money due to be paid for bait.</p>
<p>No payment will be accepted on the day of the competition.</p>
<p>Teams of Four open draw will take place at registration.</p>
<p>Teams of Two entries must be submitted at registration and entry fee is 10 Eur per Team</p>
<p>All anglers must check in each morning at the pier where they will receive their bait allocation daily. Check in 830am to 930am</p>
<p>Thurs / Fri  and 1 hour earlier on Sat as boats depart at 9am.</p>
<p>Please ensure no LITTER  is left on pier and surrounding areas before and after  Competition.</p>

<p>Dear Members as a follow up to the fairways mower fundraiser, the ladies club have assembled a wonderful hamper (both baskets make up the one hamper ) it is completely self funded by the ladies club , so all proceeds are profit .&nbsp;</p>
<p>So if you could not take part in the Classic or if you are just feeling lucky buy a ticket for €2 or three for €5 .</p>
