<h2>Cobh Wanderers</h2>
<h4>The over 35's got the season off to a great start with a win against Riverstown in the Centenary Cup this evening. Wanderers took the lead in the first half when Tommy Cronin poked home from close range having been put through by a superb pass from Ian Stapleton. Riverstown equalised from a brilliant turn and finish near the endline to even up the score at half time. Wanderers had to soak up a lot of pressure from Riverstown throughout the second half but two late strikes from Chubbs settled the score. The first a simple side-foot effort past the keeper and the second a piledriver off the under side of the bar from outside the box. Wanderers will face Crofton Celtic in the next round next Monday. Well done to Trevor Rowe and all the squad.</h4>
