<p>What a fantastic weekend for the club.<br>Outstanding results in Charleville with an enormous amount of runners. We had 7 members from the club running this flat-fast course. <br><br>First in was Eoin Downing in a powerful time of 1.16 PB<br><br>Following suit was Johnny Garrett 1.24<br>Shane O’Regan 1.27 PB<br>Margaret O’Regan 1.42<br>Bernadette Ryan Row 2.02<br>Helen Devery 2.12<br>Margaret O’Connell 2.12<br><br>This race gathers clubs from all over, it’s flat &amp; fast and Ballymore have proven just that. Huge well done to you all.</p>

Very disappointing to see this stretch of road repeatedly littered by walkers dropping confectionary wrappers &amp; plastic bottles and drivers firing out coffee cups &amp; wrappers. Thanks for your care Jennifer.&nbsp;</p>

<p>This weekend's competition is Stableford off the white tees kindly sponsored by Liam A Barry Engineering.<br><br>Last man standing – par 3’s<br>The men’s club are running a last man standing style competition on our par 3’s.<br>• €2 entry fee, winner takes all. Plus, €50 off next year’s annual subs or a voucher for either the restaurant or pro shop.<br>• Competition starts Fri 30th Sept and will run until there is one winner.<br>• Played over weekends that the competition is singles format<br>• Nett bogey (1-point Stapleford) on two of the par threes in play and you are eliminated.<br>• First card to count over the weekend.<br>• If all remaining players are eliminated in final round, then those players are re-entered to continue playing until they are eliminated or only one player remains.<br>• Entry for competition is taken in the pro shop. If you miss a weekend your eliminated<br>• 2’s competition continues as normal.</p>

<p>U20b League Celts 38 v Cobh 46<br>Outstanding game tonight in The league as we just fell short after a fantastic performance. After a terrible 1st qtr we settled and came back from 15 down to level the game entering The 4th qtr. We just couldn't get ahead and sometimes that plays on the mind as Cobh managed to find a couple of big shots down the stretch. Huge games from Ryan O'Mahony who was outstanding, Xavier Tiaco and Mark Watkins. Johnathon stout improves with every outing and was very solid tonight with Conor Murphy having a great game at The point. Define glory they say...Glory is seeing players you work with improving with every game!!  Congrats to Cobh and we move on.<br>&nbsp;</p>
