<p>We have been getting active at this week at BSRAC (despite the rain!) as part of European School Sports Day 2022.<br><br>The children have been taking part in a selection of fun activities, drills and stations to develop Fine and Gross Motor Skills!<br><br>Wellbeing and physical activity form an important part of life here at BSRAC and these activities are constantly built into our daily learning and teaching!<br><br>Maith sibh, leaids!&nbsp;</p>

<p>Our school community was delighted to celebrate European Day of Languages this week! 🌟<br><br>Take a look at this video we made to mark the occasion as we showcase all of the amazing languages and cultures that make our school so great! 🌈<br><br>The Irish seanfhocal 'Beatha teanga í a labhairt!' speaks true to our school mission for linguistic respect and diversity - 'The life of a language is to speak it!' ☘️<br><br>Speak our languages, respect our languages, be proud of our languages!&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thanks to all who are supporting the film club this season. Great to see attendance up to pre covid levels.<br><br> Delighted to have attended the screening of the award winning Pedro Almadovar film 'Parallel Mothers' starring Penelope Cruz:<br>On - Mon 26th Sept. At Cobh Community Centre.<br>A really brilliant film.</p>

<h3>Our U15 Boys Gaelic Football squad made their Munster Championship debut.</h3>

<p><br>From the start, we faced a much stronger Comeragh College from Tipperary. After a slow start our lads got a few scores on the board. <br>In the second half the lads came more into the game and with some good movement and passing we scored our first goal via Cillian. We scored a few more points but we were unable to bridge the gap on the scoreboard. Other notable performances on the day included Adam B, Liam M &amp; Padraig O'C.<br><br>Hard luck lads, onwards and upwards.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Culture Night Lego Challenge.<br>Build a duck in 60 seconds with 6 pieces of Lego.   And the winner is ..... Paige Kelleher ( aged 2),  who built a duck in 10 seconds (without any help) 🥇🥇🥇 🏆🏆<br><br>Well done to all the other young people who created some brilliant ducks.</p>

<h2>New Career beckons?</h2>

<p>Flew from Cork and arrived in Dubrovnik after 3 and a half hour flight on Wednesday.  I was given a seat with the pilot.  I have flown about 65,000 miles this year, so I feel I was well entitled to wings. I"m  now in Medjugorje for the 4th time this year. Weather 21c much cooler than 30c Plus in September.</p>
