<p>Fishery Liaisons specialises in fisheries stakeholder engagement along with general marine consultancy, we also pride ourselves in offering a helping hand to the fishing industry where possible. <p>Megan here, with my final staff post for SIRIUS.</p>
<p>I recently rewatched a favourite television series of mine called ‘Fleabag’, which can be viewed on a few streaming platforms (highly recommend).</p>
<p>There’s a certain moment where a supporting character for one episode gives a soliloquy in the presence of the protagonist on the subject of women in business and the innate burden carried by the majority.</p>
<p>“Women are born with pain built in,” she says. “It’s our physical destiny: period pains, sore boobs, childbirth, you know. We carry it within ourselves throughout our lives; men don’t.</p>
<p>“They have to seek it out, they invent all these gods and demons and things just so they can feel guilty about things, which is something we do very well on our own. And then they create wars so they can feel things and touch each other and when there aren’t any wars they can play rugby.</p>
<p>“We have it all going on in here, inside; we have pain on a cycle for years and years and years and then, just when you feel you are making peace with it all, what happens? The menopause comes, it [expletive] comes, and it is the most wonderful [expletive] thing in the world.</p>
<p>“And yes, your entire pelvic floor crumbles and you get [expletive] hot and no one cares, but then you’re free, no longer a slave, no longer a machine with parts. You’re just a person.”</p>
<p>This moment has stuck with me since I first watched it. It resonates with me, it’s utterly insightful and is something I personally believe to be true. It’s a piece of film that makes me feel empowered, instigates hope and belonging. I feel impelled to share this on my final staff post.</p>

Lovely food with a great view and really nice picnic benches to sit out and watch the waterfront from,we just had had some Hansum rotisserie chicken and wedges and it was delicious! They also have a fish and chip stall,a Gourmet￼ burger stall￼ , Roast which does coffee and treats And  Mama Bear ,an ice cream stall that does smoothies waffles and doughnuts and little smoothie bowls for dogs!￼ it’s open till six every day for the moment</p>
