<p>Gerry took the little people for a day trip to the seaside and while they were there they went for a swim, cycle and run. Thanks to Tried and Tested Triathlon Club for another great Olympic Triathlon. The blue skies and blahs were very welcome! Well done lads 💪&nbsp;</p>

<p>Our PIRATES RFC 18s had their first run out of the season in the Paddocks   in a very sporting encounter against Mallow RFC .&nbsp;</p>
<p>A total of 27 players played , a combination of new players up from last years 16s and older squad members. Thanks to Mallow for the game and best of luck in your season ahead.</p>
<p>Pirates ran out 17 -15 victors and the focus is now on the 1st round of the South Munster Cup next weekend away to Youghal on Saturday.</p>

<p>Fantastic day in Ballymore with great community spirit &amp; all proceeds going to Cobh Community Hospital .- The fun wasn't over with live music for the night, thanks to James and family.</p>

<p>Long trip to Kanturk for the U11 boys team today but that didn’t stop them. They did what was asked of them and worked well as a team and passed the ball and a good few goals to add as well. Well done lads and thanks to all the coaches who helped out👏</p>

<p>@streamlineswimmingclubcobh are back training hard after the summer break. The kids were in for a big surprise last week to get a visit from Irish Olympian Mona McSharry!  Mona gave some fantastic advice and tips to the swimmers. A huge thank you to @monalmcsharry for visiting the club, head coach Marc and guest coach Ruby for organising such a special day for all involved.</p>

<p>We said goodbye to Skerries and headed for Howth to meet with Howth Tidy Towns volunteers. A maritime festival and wall to wall sunshine for us ! Great to meet so many of the team at their Tidy Towns stand and have a walk about with Helen and Virginia. Music, murals, sculptures and spotless streets even with a festival in full flow. Well done everyone in Howth. We’re very thankful to volunteers from Howth &amp; Skerries Tidy Towns for taking the time to meet us today. Lots of sleepy heads on the bus home to Cobh now. Volunteers paid for their own transport and food today and were delighted with the whole experience .</p>
