<p>Cup Result <br>Kilgoban Celtic 0-1 Springfield AFC <br><br>A 75minute goal by Shane McDernott was enough to see the Cobh outfit through to the 3rd Round. <br>The match in West Cork was played in very difficult conditions and found Celtic’s keeper Alex Young in top form to deny Springfield on several occasions<br>Without him the scoreline would have been far greater for sure. <br>Special thanks to Our Ilija Zagorac whom not only drove our team bus made available by his employer but also kept a valuable clean sheet as our keeper.</p>

<p>The Cobh Wanderers Afc club would like to wish Keelan Lee a speedy recovery after breaking his collar bone in the Junior A's impressive 4-1 win over Bandon in Town Park in League 3.</p>
