<p>Blue skies and warm sunshine saw 30 volunteers take to the streets picking litter, sweeping footpath leaves and cleaning out summer flowers. A big gang headed to Christ Church Rushbrooke Cobh to help parishioners manage the wildlife meadow out the front. Pathways and small areas were cut with purpose through the meadow area with areas of existing habitat left to allow the winter flowers and insects to thrive. All the cuttings were then lifted. We gathered in Cobh Library to launch the November exhibition of our calendar photos. Thanks to Librarian Julie for her warm welcome and beverages and to a kind supporter Denise who surprised us with beautiful cupcakes.</p>
