<p>There were celebrations in Cobh this weekend as Garvey's SuperValu has won top gong with the best Medium Off Licence in Ireland. The team from the Tiknock store were awarded the prestigious SuperValu award on Thursday.<br>It's been a busy few weeks of celebrating for the Garvey Group, who run stores across Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford. Their Tralee store's Off Licence was also in the running.</p>

<p>Yesterday, our U16 Boys Basketball team went against Kinsale Community School. A strong start from Leo and Pablo put Colaiste Muire in the lead 20-05 at the end of the first quarter. <br><br>Good rebounds from Rossa and scores from Conor keep Cobh in the lead at half time. Good team effort in the third quarter. In the Fourth Quarter Cobh put more scores on the board to secure their win. <br><br>Final score 62-19 to Coláiste Muire Cobh.&nbsp;</p>

<p>PIRATES RFC / CARRIGALINE R.F.C.   14 Girls hosted MIDLETON RFC / Youghal Rugby Football Club rugb at Mahon rugby grounds on Sunday last, with an excellent display of rugby from both sides. With tries flying in for both teams in the first half, a very entertaining game unfolded, with Midleton coming in to their own in the second half to take the win. Pirates/Carrigaline try scorers, Faye Osbourne (on her debut), Tara Osbourne, Faye McIlwraith and Danielle Sweeney, with three excellent conversions from out-half Zoe O’Sullivan. Congratulations to Faye McIlwraith, named captain on the day.</p>
