<p>Eoin Keith - Athlete is currently in a small village called Tejeda in Gran Canaria running an ultra marathon 270km long. <br>He will have a few weeks rest before running around Cóbh on Tuesday 29th of November. <br>Eoin is kindly giving a talk about Ultra running and his achievements in the Commodore on Monday 28th at 6.15pm. ITS FREE log onto Event brite to book a place and donations at the door for Brighter Communities worldwide Charity. <br>Have your Questions ready, this is going to be interesting.</p>

Charlotte O Reilly.<br> <br>Charlotte O’Reilly’s steady progress since recently joining the under-age rank is worthy of recognition.<br><br>After initially impressing during last summer’s track action, Charlotte has put herself to good use in this seasons cross country campaign.<br><br>A willing student when it comes to listening and learning in practice, this promising youngster has picked up a couple of medals in recent weeks to help underline her improvement.<br><br>Very well done to Charlotte and we look forward to sharing many more happy days of sport with you &amp; your clubmates.<br><br>Senior.  Shane Meyler.<br> <br>Possibly the hardest task of all, to write a piece on the master of griping story telling Mr Shane Meyler.<br>Congratulations to Shane on being awarded October Athlete of the month 2022.<br>I think we will all agree that Shane’s true dedication to the Club has to be recognised, appreciated &amp; admired. His constant scouting for club members (I wouldn’t be writing this if it wasn’t for his stalking ) Shane has a unique way about him that is infectious, he makes you feel you want to be a part of it.<br>Shane coaches the Tigers on a weekly basis, which is a passion not a task for him. Every athletic club should have a Shane Meyler. Thank you for your contribution and well done on all of your achievements.</p>

<p>This is an absolute disgrace. Someone just pulled up in Belvelly, dumped all this and off they went. It’s constantly happening and I have enough. I’m asking everyone to share it to catch these people. They obviously just moved to ireland going by the boxes, Country clean aren’t going to pick them up. Little did they know they left a few names on the boxes, come back before this evening move them or I am reporting it to the proper authorities.</p>

I will also have Stall at Ballymores Christmas Fayre on 4th December in the Hi Chaperal Ballymore. All my crafts will come gift wrapped. I can deliver for free anywhere in cobh. <p>Boys Gaelic Football<br><br>Our Senior team played Killorglin CC in Banteer on Monday last. <br><br>In near perfect playing conditions, our opposition got off to a flying start with 2 goals within the first 5 minutes. After a reshuffle in the backline and an early introduction of Luke R, we steadied the ship and clawed back into the lead with 2 opportunistic goals from Brandon &amp; Erin. Playing into the wind, we worked the ball well and racked up a few more scores. After taking the lead, we were 2 points up and on the attack once again until a quick turnover and swift counter attack resulted in a Killorglin goal just before half time.<br>We gathered ourselves at half time but again, a quick start by Killorglin to the second half with 3 points from play and a goal, we had a lot of ground to make up. We needed a miracle to get back into the game and this came from our full forward Gearoid who intercepted a short kick out and calmly chipped the keeper from 30yards out. A few moments later, our towering full forward scored another after some fine work from Luke M &amp; Sean O K out the field. We played very well in the second half with some wonderful saves by Bryan preventing certain goal chances. A late solo effort from Sean O K to the top corner of the net narrowed the margin to one point. After losing the resulting kick out the referee blew the final whistle.  One point loss. Other notable performances on the day were Sean O C, Billy M, Warren D &amp; Luke R. <br>It was not be our day, however the lads showed great character today and represented the school well in both competitions this year. With 11 of the starting 15 eligible again next year, we look forward to what this team has to offer in 2023.&nbsp;</p>

<p>We are thrilled to be able to celebrate Pres Day on Monday next as a school Community. <br><br>As part of our celebrations this year, we will be gathering together as a school community in St. Colman's Cathedral to celebrate Mass at 12noon on Monday next. Fr. Tom Mc Dermott, our school chaplain, will lead our celebration. <br><br>We extend an invitation to the PBST Directors, Parents Council, Board of Management, Retired staff, parents and guardians to attend. <br><br>Classes will be as per the timetable on Monday and we will gather for Mass at 12noon. It is a school day and it is important that all members of our school community attend. This is a whole school celebration and as it is during the month of November, we are also going to remember our family, friends and staff members who have died. <br><br>We will all go home from St. Colman's Cathedral with no classes taking place in the afternoon. <br><br></p>
