<p>The 4th class girls in room 13 worked in groups to create “feelings bottles” as a part of the stay safe programme to show how we feel when we’re upset, happy, nervous, excited and angry.&nbsp;</p>

<p>You are invited to join with SECAD, local communities and expert speakers for an exciting and critically important discussion about how communities and key service providers in Cork can actively support the aims and ambitions agreed by world leaders during COP 27.  This event will take place on 30th November 2022 at the Radisson Hotel Little Island, 4pm-8pm.  We will be joined by leaders in the field of sustainability including Dr Tara Shine and Mindy O’ Brien.  Tara has advised world leaders and international organisations on climate change and sustainable development and Mindy is Chief Executive with VOICE Ireland, one of Irelands and Europe’s fastest growing member-based environmental charities.<br> <br>You will also be joined by community leaders from East Cork, South Cork , West Cork and from communities within the Cork City environs who have started a development process, through a series of capacity building programmes funded through a SECAD Partnership LEADER Cooperation programme with partners in Estonia and Spain.  This process has looked at what positive steps volunteer-based groups can take in addressing big issues relating to climate Change.<br> <br>Please see attached a ‘Save the date’ flyer. <p>20 brave contestants taking part this Thursday for The Titanic Bar and Grill  Hot Wings Challange. <br><br>All proceedings will be going to the  Friends of Cobh Hospital . If you would like to attend doors will be open from 8pm. There will be bucket collections along with a raffle with some fantastic prices from some generous businesses. <br><br>Myself &amp; the gifted David James Murphy will be supplying abit of entertainment on the night. Cobh Hospital needs funds more then ever with the hike of energy prices and the cost of living lately. I hope everyone in the Cobh Parish will support this event.\</p>

<p>Continuing our success on the Basketball court last week were the U19 Girls Team who also had a great win against Glanmire Community College, <br><br>The final score was 52-34 points. Great effort by all and they girls are now into the semi finals.</p>
