<p>The club wish to sent a massive thanks to some of the sponsors of our new kit being worn by our senior and two junior teams this season. We would like to sincerely thank all our sponsors for their generosity in supporting the club in our quest to provide a competitive edge for all our teams. Our double Centenary Cup victories at senior and over 35 level this season points to a bright future and to the standards the club wish to achieve. <br>In picture are senior manager Davin O' Neill, club chairman Frank McCall along with junior A manager and committee member Peter O' Halloran with the main club sponsor Randridge on the senior jerseys. They are also pictured with the junior A jerseys sponsored by All-Star Tiling. The trio are joined by long-time supporter of the club, Paul O' Halloran of Ryan's Bar holding the jersey as the main sponsor of the first junior team. We, as always, encourage everyone to support businesses who support us.</p>

<p>Last Friday was a fantastic evening for the Whitepoint Whiskey Society  inaugural sold out whiskey tasting event in aid of the American Pier Cobh restoration.<br>An amazing €2000 was raised.<br>Thank you to everyone who attended and gave generously on the night, to local businesses who donated prizes and to the Commodore and staff of the Irish Naval Service. A special thank you to Cathal O' Brien of West Cork Irish Whiskey <br>who shared his passion and knowledge.</p>

<p>Our 6th Year and LCA2 Art students, with their teachers Ms Roche and Ms Grynis, travelled to Crawford Art Gallery last week where they saw Canova casts and Eithne Jordan's painting's, Corban Walker's As Far As I Can See exhibition, Drawing Room exhibition, and the Behind the Scenes exhibition. They also squeezed in some street art by Conor Harrington and Shane O'Driscoll as part of the Ardú Street Art Festival. They braved the weather and pigeons!!</p>

<h3>Well done to our pupils who danced at the Munster Irish Dancing Championships in Killarney at the weekend. Huge Congratulations to Robyn from 6th class who qualified to dance in the World Championships. Robyn will represent Munster in the World Championships in Montreal Canada in 2023. <p>It was so lovely to see all our locally made crafts and knits at the Christmas Fayre yesterday in Cobh and the good news is that Angela, Roisín, Mary, Bert, Margaret, Joan and Helen will have stalls at the Ballymore High Chapperal Christmas Market again next Sunday with our local Mary's Crafts plus so much more!&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Great Glenville Run, Watergrasshill AC's annual club race, certainly didn't disappoint - as we knew it wouldn't! <br><br>An abundance of homemade chocolate rice crispie squares to die for, beautiful biscuit cakes, savage slices of nana's apple crumble, trays choc-full of chicken, cheese, ham and roast beef sandwiches to wrap your laughing gear around. And a heap of healthy stuff, too. <br>This 4 mile road race was worth the entry fee for the after-race fare alone! Plus, a very handy reusable travel mug for all who entered. A most hospitable céad míle fáilte from Watergrasshill indeed. <br><br>First over the line for Ballymore Cobh AC with an exemplary effort was Alex Eaton 74th (27:39). <br><br>Deirdre Meyler 126th (30:26) gave a really good account of herself with a well-paced run. <br><br>Shane Meyler 127th (30:27) gamely brought it home for the club on the day.<br><br>📸 Credit: Belinda Sullivan Photography</p>

<p>Came across this on Friday just as I was about to go to Blarney for the 25th anniversary of Rockban Camogie and Ladies Football club. It was nice to be honoured with other founding members of the club and to meet up with most of the brilliant players who were part of the Junior and Intermediate teams who brought 2 All-Ireland's to the club within 5 years of its formation. Junior champions in 2001 and Intermediate champions in 2002. Happy days.</p>
