<p>Great performances by the Cobh boys U10s  in Neptune stadium sporting the new sports gear kindly sponsored by Vertel. The team played 3 teams - Bantry, Ballincollig, Limerick Celtics . There was excellent scores and super defence played by all. Won 2 out of the 3 games . The team is improving all the time. Thank you to parents for travelling to the match. Roll on the next blitz in the new year.</p>

<p>On Thursday, our U19 Boys Basketball Team went against Carrigaline. A good start from both teams in the first quarter. <br><br>Steals and scores from both Joan and Pablo put Colaiste Muire ahead in the first quarter. (19-08)<br><br>Colaiste Muire gave way throughout the remaining quarters to assure their win.<br><br>The final score was 85-32. <br><br>Well done lads! A great team effort again!&nbsp;</p>

<p>A convincing cup win for Springfield which overcame a stubborn Grattan team. <br>Springfield exploited the space well from the wide channels with Walsh &amp; Chevalier a constant threat that gave rise to some smart finishing by Chevalier and then Briton.<br>Overall Springfield limited Grattan to only a couple of goal opportunities and when the second half opened up Springfield’s midfield duo of Hogan &amp; Wilmott started to find willing runs from McDermott &amp; Britton to add to the scoresheet and put the result out of question. A driving run by Hogan got on the scoresheet and then to cap a terrific performance Britton secured his hat trick to seal his side’s passage into Round 5 of The AOH . <br><br>Nb Match finished ten minutes earlier after Grattan went down to 10 men with second yellow card and scoreline at 6-0 the managers reached a gentlemen agreement to blow up.  Grattan to resume their league campaign and Springfield their quest for silverware in 2023</p>
