With gratitude to each and everyone for maintaining outside your residential areas and a huge thank you to our volunteers Eileen,Nollaig,Sarah,Peter,Dave,Avaleen, Padraig,Margaret,John,Sean,Michael,Liz, Stewart and Theresa for the great job done in and outside the church,to Paul,Breda, Des,Peter, Brendan, Mary and John for looking after the village and,to Grainne, Olly,Martin,Fiona, Marie,Brian, Suzanne,  Des,Breda,Paul and Sean for looking after the community centre.A big thank you to James and Yvonne for donating three magnificent Christmas trees to our community for the church,community centre and village.👏👏Huge thanks again to everyone and well done to you all.👏👏Wishing each and every one in our lovely community a very happy, healthy and peaceful New Year.</p>

<p>We are delighted to announce that defender Charlie Lyons has returned to the club from Galway United<br><br>Having his begun his career at Innishvilla, Charlie spent time at Preston North End’s Academy set-up before joining Ramblers in 2019. He spent three seasons at the club, featuring 66 times and scoring nine goals from defence. He then moved to Galway where he helped the Connacht outfit reach the First Division play-offs in 2022.<br><br>The 22 year old centre back was a popular figure at St Colman’s Park and we look forward to seeing him back in the claret and blue for 2023.<br><br>🗞️ http://cobhramblers.ie/lyons-returns/ <br><br> Welcome back Charlie! 🐏</p>

<p>Our girls academy hosted a blitz  with the Cork Women's Soccer league at the Stephen Ireland astro.<br><br>Thanks to Ringmahon Rangers FC, Douglas Hall  AFC, Corkbeg AFC, Midleton FC and Carrigtwohill United AFC for joining us.<br><br>A great morning was had by all and some fantastic football on display. <br><br>Well done girls&nbsp;</p>

<p>Yesterday we visited Cobh, which is the location that many Irish departed from, including my great grandmother. It was the last port call of the Titanic as well. The last picture is of the actual White star pier where the passengers left from to board the Titanic. But is also the pier used to immigrate. This is why it is called Heartbreak Pier.</p>
