<p>Today was all about the music in Coláiste Muire. We had an impromptu concert at lunch featuring some of our 5th and 6th year students and special guests Ms. Ormond and Mrs. Stafford! Thank you Jenny, Muireann, Dylan, Luke, Adam and Sean for sharing your talents with us! <br>What a wonderful way to spend our last lunchtime of 2022.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thank you to everyone who made a donation to our Food Appeal. The bags and boxes were packed by Rian, Gearoid and Ca on Monday, and that afternoon, they loaded Richie’s van and we waved them off. <br><br>It is a poignant moment when we hear of how so many families are in need of our help this Christmas. <br><br>But wonderful to see the depth of kindness from our school community. <br><br>We would like to thank you the parents/guardians and all our students for your immense generosity and take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Christmas.</p>

<p>CHRISTMAS FUN IN RANG 6! 🎄<br><br>Rang a Sé finished the term with a Pyjama Day, Crazy Bingo Game and finished it off with some hot chocolate and other treats! 🙌<br><br>The children enjoyed dressing up in a selection of crazy clothing to celebrate crazy bingo and even won some spot prizes from the prize bag! 🌟<br><br>What a fantastic way to finished the term off!&nbsp;</p>

<p>We were so excited to receive a visit from the man in the red suit - Santa Claus! 🎅<br><br>After a quick call from Ms. Flannery, Santa Claus said he would be delighted to visit Bunscoil Rinn an Chabhlaigh and let all the children know that they were on the nice list! ✨<br><br>Santa left a selection of presents for all the boys and girls in their classrooms! 🙌<br><br>He also spoke at our Christmas Assembly and reminded all the children to continue to be good! ♥️<br><br>Thanks also to our Parent's Association who helped bring Santa around our school!</p>

We have had over 70 outlets participating this year with €2500 worth of vouchers - this has enabled us to create these amazing 13 prizes! What a great way to spread Christmas cheer!<br><br>Our top 3 shop local winners are pictured here receiving their prizes from President Johanna. <br><br>Marion Horgan, our first prize winner has won €500 worth of vouchers after shopping in Garvey's Supervalu Cobh. Our second prize winner Trish Carter won after shopping in Eurospar Ireland. The third prize winner, Sarah McNamara won from shopping in Kilkenny Shop. Also, congratulations to Angie O’Sullivan who won the Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail Family Pass.</p>

<p>So after 4 'gigs' and raising €1090.00, for the Cobh hospital and Park Road Day Care Centre, the Cobh Military Veterans &amp; Friends Pa Rum Pum Pum Pum Carol Singers are taking a well earned rest for the Christmas.<br>Thank you very much to all that donated on Friday and Saturday to these worthy causes.<br>Watch this space for news of future gigs and possible World tour.</p>

<p>Our 2014 Boys finished off the season on Sunday morning with fun and games. Some of the coaches enjoyed it more than the Kids but with some mistakes at the back🤣<br><br>Big thanks to John Griffin of Addicted Coffee Shop and Martin/Roseanne Brady of built to lead Fitness for supplying selection boxes and sweets for the boys and a big thanks to all the coaches who this would not be possilbe without every week.</p>
