<p>Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Andrew, one of the twelve Apostles of Jesus and Patron Saint of Scotland. Today is Scotland’s national holiday. <br><br>Andrew was the older brother of St. Peter. Andrew and Peter were called from their fishing by Jesus to follow him, promising that he would make them “fishers of men.”<br><br>We thank God for the people who have told us about Jesus. We are also reminded that we are missioned to tell others the Good News about Jesus.<br><br>St. Andrew, pray for us 🙏🏻</p>

We are making cards, personalised wrapping paper and giftable work. <p>Brian Mc Sweeney RIP</p>
<p>As a school community we would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family of Brian McSweeney who passed away on Wednesday, especially to his wife Liz and sons David, Paul and Kevin. Brian spent a large part of his professional career as a teacher of PE and English here in the Community College. His contribution to the teaching, learning and sport has always been valued by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.</p>

<p>Today our 3rd year students engaged in a study skills workshop delivered by Evan Costigan of Brainbox.ie.  Students were introduced to different approaches to study, goal setting, note taking and taking control of their own learning. Students were also encouraged to develop a balanced plan to include school, study, exercise and  hobbies .</p>
