<p>As we see lots of trees lighting around our parish in our home and places of work here is a short prayer for the Lighting of the tree🎄 <br><br>Lord God,<br>let your blessing come upon us<br>as we illumine this tree.<br>May the light and cheer it gives<br>be a sign of the joy that fills our hearts.<br>May all who delight in this tree<br>come to the knowledge and joy of salvation.<br>We ask this through Christ our Lord.<br><br>Amen.</p>

<p><br>The office will be open up to the 23rd December 2022 until 4.00pm and reopen on the 8th January 2023.<br><br> There are Christmas cards for sale in the office (12 per box) for €6.50. <br></p>

<p>Super evening for a super group of kids, our underage kids had there Christmas party tonight plenty of music and games and sweets, a change from the training 🤣🥊, many thanks to Martin brady for the sponsorship of all the goodie bags and to he's wonderful wife rosanne for making them all up the kids were delighted, also to the parents who passed stuff in many thanks to you all have a wonderful Christmas see you in the new year.</p>

<p>The boys in 5th class had another very busy day today in Cobh, organised by Ms. Studdert. <br>They visited the cathedral to say a prayer and write a note for the remembrance tree. They sang beautiful carols at Cobh Credit Union and had a hot chocolate party in the promenade. <br>A big thank you to Coral Leisure centre who donated some money for hot chocolate and Cobh Credit Union and Truly Scrumptious who made the day very special by giving the boys selection boxes and biscuits!&nbsp;</p>

<p>Thank you to The Gate Cinema at the North Gate Bridge in Cork for hosting our TY Christmas Outing .<br><br>Our TY’s watched Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical and got some signing practice in for their own show in the New Year. <br><br>Thank you also to the Cobh Connect Bus for their efficient service to and from Cork. A great day was had by all.&nbsp;</p>
