<p>Ms. Maher’s 4th class wrote their own “Winter Days” poems, taking inspiration from the poem by Gareth Owen.</p>

<p>Congratulations to Kitty, in 6th Year whose artwork is on the PBST Christmas Card this year. <br><br>Kitty entered the PBST Art Competition last year and the board felt her entry, was as relevant this year as it was last year and as a result her image is on the PBST Christmas card this year.  <br><br>Kitty was inspired by an image she saw on TV from Kabul Airport, Afghanistan last year and unfortunately this year, it can be applied to the War in Ukraine also.  <br><br>Well done, Kitty, the card will be sent to all the PBST associates around the world. Here is the image Kitty created.<br></p>

<p>Christmas Jumpers at the ready… <br><br>We are thrilled to be having our Christmas Jumper Day again this year for Cobh Community Hospital. <br><br>On Monday 19th December we invite you all the wear a Christmas Jumper instead of your school jumper. <br><br>We will be having a collection on the day and sharing an online donation link also. <br></p>

<p>We will be holding a Christmas jumper day on Tuesday the 20th of December. Pupils are invited to wear a Christmas jumper or Christmas themed clothing instead of the school uniform. We ask for a donation of €2-€5. All proceeds will be going to St Vincent De Paul, Cobh.</p>

<p>We are not charging an entrance fee for our Christmas concerts.. however we will be running a Christmas raffle for 2 large hampers and 3 spot prizes. Tickets will be on sales on the way into the halla on Friday the 16th. €5 for a line of tickets. The raffle will take place on Monday the 19th.</p>

<p>Our last J1 game of the calendar year is this Sunday at home to Waterford City Rugby Club k.o. 2.30 pm. All support greatly appreciated as always. The next round of the clubs quarterly draw will also take place on the day, winners will be notified and names posted. Laya Healthcare.</p>
