<p>We are thrilled to be having our Christmas Jumper Day again this year for Cobh Community Hospital. <br><br>On Monday 19th December we invite you all the wear a Christmas Jumper instead of your school jumper. <br><br>We will be having a collection on the day and sharing an online donation link also.&nbsp;</p>

<p>U12 Div 4 Girls<br><br>Springfield Ramblers 1-0 College Corinthians AFC <br><br>A depleted squad due to illness seen the girls line out this morning with only 1 sub on the bench and a game where all 10 girls had a part to play in this victory. <br><br>Corinthians started the brighter side and looked to be through straight on goal only for some fantastic defending by Faye Creevy to get back and win the ball with a fantastic tackle.<br><br>Springfield started to settle into the game and look to get their passing game going. The pairing of Reece Johnson and Lucy Meacle in the middle of the park helped break up any attacking threat Corinthians threw at the girls and Springfield looked to utilise the space they were finding in the channels through Sarah Field, Caitlyn Griffin and Ellen O'Brien up top.<br><br>The breakthrough came early in the second half when a short corner was played to the edge of the box where Faye Creevy was waiting,  she beat her marker and buried the ball into the bottom corner to give the lead and eventually secure all 3 points. <br><br>Springfield were unlucky not to add to their goal with plenty of chances in the last 20 mins and for some solid defending to keep Corinthians at bay who looked dangerous on the attack.<br><br>Played well: Amy Mc Grath, Kayla Louth, Reece Johnson<br><br>Player of the match: Lucy Meacle</p>

<p>What a lovely evening spent with Cobh Irish Red Cross Youth - Santa was amazing as well as the boys and girls, so many vehicles - 100 to be exact. The little heros were amazing. Thank you Adam Foley and all the team for making it all happen.</p>
